About Pipeline Machine & Owner Joe Convey
Joe Convey opened his own business, Pipeline Machine, in January 2019 as a way of combining his love of CNC machining and the pipeline construction industry. He worked in machine shops prior to working on heavy equipment on various pipeline construction jobs nationwide..
Pipeline Machine gave Joe the chance to get back to the challenges and rewards that a machine shop offers, while also staying connected to the pipeline industry. A bonus: He now has the freedom to spend more time with his family.
Joe has more than 21 years of invaluable on-the-job experience, including 11 years working in the pipeline construction industry. Beyond that:
• Graduating top of his class, he earned an associate degree in machine tool technology from Eastern Maine Technical College in Bangor, Maine.
